Community Guidelines
Effective 5 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-05
Milanzo works when everyone is real, respectful and safe. Breaking these guidelines can get your photos rejected, your profile suspended, or your account banned.
Be real
- Use your real first name and age. You must be 18 or older.
- Your photos must be of you. Your main photo should clearly show your face.
- One person, one account. No fake, duplicate, shared or business profiles.
- Be honest about what you're looking for. It's how we match you with the right people.
Photos we don't approve
- Face not clearly visible, or heavily filtered so you're unrecognisable
- Photos of someone else, celebrities, stock images, cartoons or memes
- Nudity, underwear or swimwear as the main photo, or sexually suggestive poses
- Phone numbers, social media handles, QR codes, links or ads
- Group photos where we can't tell which one is you (as your main photo)
- Photos of children on their own
- Weapons, drugs, violence or hate symbols
Be respectful
- No harassment, threats, insults or repeated unwanted messages. If someone doesn't reply or unmatches, move on.
- No hate or discrimination based on religion, caste, community, region, language, skin colour, gender, sexual orientation, disability or anything else.
- No sexual messages or photos unless the other person has clearly and willingly agreed, and never share anyone's intimate images.
- Respect everyone's preferences and boundaries, including about family, religion and pace.
No money, no business
- Never ask for money, UPI payments, gifts, recharges, loans or investments, even as a joke.
- No selling, promoting, recruiting, crypto or trading "opportunities", escort or paid services.
- Don't push to move to WhatsApp or other apps straight away. That's a common scam pattern.
Never allowed, and reported to police where required
- Anyone under 18, or any content that sexualises minors
- Sharing intimate images without consent, sextortion or blackmail
- Threats of violence, stalking, or encouraging self-harm
- Fraud, impersonation and scams
Staying safe
While chatting
- Take your time. Keep chatting in Milanzo until you feel comfortable.
- Don't share your home address, workplace, financial details or OTPs.
- If anyone asks for money or UPI, it's a scam. Report them.
- Be careful if someone's story keeps changing, they avoid video calls, or they rush things.
Meeting in person
- Video call first to check they're who they say they are.
- Meet in a busy public place such as a café or mall, not at home or somewhere isolated.
- Tell a friend or family member where you're going and who you're meeting. Share your live location.
- Arrange your own transport, and stay in control of your drink and belongings.
- Leave whenever you feel uncomfortable. You don't owe anyone an explanation.
If something goes wrong
- In an emergency, call 112.
- Women's helpline: 181. Cyber crime helpline: 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.
- Report the person in Milanzo using the ⋯ menu in your chat. Reporting also blocks them.
How we enforce these guidelines
- Every photo is reviewed before others can see it.
- Profiles that are reported by several people, or reported for scams or being underage, are hidden while our team reviews them.
- Depending on what happened, we may reject a photo, suspend your profile until you fix it, or ban your account permanently.
- Think we got it wrong? Contact our Grievance Officer.
